Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-08
This is the privacy policy for Pocket Invoice ("the app"), a mobile invoicing application published by Vexai LLC ("we", "us").
Summary
Pocket Invoice is built privacy-first. Your invoices, clients, line items, business profile, logo, and settings are stored on your device. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. This policy explains exactly what is and isn't collected.
What stays on your device
Every invoice, estimate, client, line item, photo, your business profile, your logo, and your settings are stored locally on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. The app works fully offline. We never see this data on our servers.
If you enable iCloud, a backup of this local data is stored in your own private iCloud account (Apple's infrastructure, governed by Apple's privacy policy). We cannot access your iCloud data, and you can turn this off in iOS Settings.
What is collected
The app uses a small number of services to function. None of these collect your invoice content or are used to track you.
- Subscriptions. Paid plans are processed by Apple. To manage entitlements and restore purchases, we use RevenueCat, which receives a randomly generated, anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase status from Apple. This is not linked to your name or email, and is not used for tracking. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Crash diagnostics (optional). To find and fix bugs, we use Sentry to collect anonymous crash and performance diagnostics (device model, OS version, and the error). This contains no invoice content or personal data, and you can turn it off any time in the app under More → Privacy.
We do not include advertising SDKs or third-party trackers, and we do not operate accounts or servers that hold your invoice data.
Permissions
The app may ask for the following device permissions, each only when you use the related feature:
- Photo library / camera — when you add a logo or attach a photo to an invoice. Images are copied into the app's private storage; your library is not modified.
- Contacts — only if you import a client. iOS shows you a single-contact picker and shares just the one contact you choose; we never read your full address book.
- Mail composer / messages / share sheet — when you send an invoice. The app generates the invoice on your device and hands it to the system app you choose. Nothing is sent until you tap send there.
The app does not request location, microphone, or background tracking permissions.
Accounts and online payments
Optional cloud accounts and online card payments are not enabled in this version of the app. If they are turned on in a future update, we will update this policy to describe the data involved, and you will be able to delete your account from within the app.
Children
The app is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version at this URL with an updated date at the top.
